For September 2021, they are looking to increase their Science provision which opens up an exciting new opportunity for a Science specialist to join their well resourced department that boasts excellent facilities.
It is an exciting time to join this school, they have recently had a new headteacher appointed and are considered to be Good’ by with 'Outstanding' Leadership and 'Outstanding' Personal Development and Welfare.
Their Progress 8 score in 2019 is the highest of all local non-selective schools (within 14 miles).
The successful Science Teacher will have the opportunity to teach across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum. It would also be desirable to be experienced in KS5, or have a willingness to teach this.
You will liaise with other members of the faculty to plan lessons and schemes of learning, to assess and monitor pupil progress and to ensure that appropriate interventions are implemented as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
