Responsibilities :

  • Working with an integrated partner / manager / associate team on large corporate and partnership transactions and business restructurings
  • Working with integrated partner / manager / associate team on US tax compliance engagements for multinational clients.
  • Reviewing the researching and writing of client consultations on a range of topics related to US corporate and partnership taxation in an international context.
  • Leading specialised technical competency teams for liaison with UK and EU practices.
  • Having a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them;
  • Have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture.
  • Managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.
  • Requirements :

  • US CPA or Masters of Taxation / Accounting, or law degree (or the intention to obtain) or equivalent qualification or experience
  • A team player that takes ownership of projects, uses initiative to resolve problems and works well under pressure, with the ability to adapt to change rapidly and respond to clients appropriately
  • A good appreciation and technical ability with respect to tax legislation and case law with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with a non US tax system (preferred)
  • Exposure to US federal Law / US treasury regulations / US corporate tax return experience (preferred)
