An opportunity exists in our sales organization for highly passionate and motivated sales professional. Chanel Partner Managers (CPM) sell through resellers / distributors to end clients within the Corporate, Education and Public Sector verticals.

This person will be measured on how well they manage channel partners, build and execute business plans that drive new business sales and increase account renewal & retention rates.

The Channel Partner Manager will also be responsible for partner training and enablement with the purpose of increasing the self-

sufficiency of the partners’ sales teams. The assigned CPM will carry a quota focused on generating growth each quarter. We seek candidates who share our values, thrive in a team environment, take initiative and recognize the importance of accountability.

  • Meets assigned new business, renewal & up-sell sales targets
  • Meet with clients and prospects along with channel partners and take the lead role on sales to ensure Rosetta Stone products and services are properly represented
  • Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
  • Remove barriers for our partners, assist them in closing the sale and being successful
  • Identify new resellers that meet the defined profiles and work with Channel Operations to fully recruit
  • Accurately and consistently log activity and forecasting using salesforce.comEnsures partner compliance with partner agreements and drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners
  • Assess channel partners performance using quantifiable evaluation, against Rosetta Stone’s ideal partner profile
  • Provide initial and ongoing demonstrations and training to channel partners
  • Become an expert in Rosetta Stone language solutions, methodology and pricing.
  • Be responsive to queries / issues raised by channel partners / clients, solving problems within agreed timeframes
  • Write customer proposals and respond to RFI / P for language learning solutions
  • Monitor and communicate client feedback to the product division, and any other teams to promote continuous improvement;
  • participate in team meetings to discuss trends or commonalities in the client population.

  • Drive and implement improvements to processes, documents, tools, reports, etc., to benefit team and internal / external clients.
  • Communicate with the sales director on all pertinent issues in a timely fashion and deliver reports requested by sales director
  • Experience / Skills :

  • 8+ years’ experience in sales / account management role, both via direct and reseller channels
  • Fluent (strong verbal, written and grammatical skills) in English
  • BA / BS in Business, Management, Computer Science, or Engineering fields
  • Ability to build trust, rapport and strong relationships
  • Able to analyze complex market and financial data and build a basic business case
  • History of sales success and demonstrated ability to penetrate and close new accounts and opportunities in high volume, fast-
  • paced environments requiring teamwork, flexibility and change management

  • Ability to engage with all levels of staff and management, including senior stakeholders at C-level
  • Strategic account planning experience-history of proactive creation and ongoing management of detailed account plans
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving, project management and time management skills - ability to conduct presentations and product demonstrations in a confident and engaging manner
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office programs and experience using online screen-sharing softwarePositive attitude, determined, strong work ethic, confidence, and the desire to be the best in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, make decisions and work efficiently and effectively under a deadline
  • A desire and ability to work with new technologies and challenging demands
  • Works within corporate philosophy and objectives
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Reports to Global Director of Channel Sales
