Due to the continued growth, a well-established company based in Swadlincote are looking to recruit an Sales Support Advisor on a full time basis to join their business on a permanent contract.

The purpose of this role is to support both the Customer Service Manager, external Sales Managers and the Internal Sales Support team.

This will require the accurate reporting, monitoring of systems, administrative duties and to provide a high level of customer service.

Job Description

  • Ensure that card / cash payments and relevant data recording is completed accurately and securely in-line with agreed deadlines
  • Compiling and auditing a CRM database to super user level
  • Prepare summaries and reports for your line manager, Directors, sales teams, and others when required
  • Deal with after sales concerns, complaints and customer queries
  • Ensure that queries are responded to promptly and dealt with to the highest level.
  • Undertake routine administrative tasks such as filing, faxing emailing, word-processing, photocopying, printing and database management
  • Provide product knowledge to an extent to be able to answer queries to customers and in-house.
  • Be the first point of contact for the Sales Director and Divisional Sales Managers
  • Extensive diary management; Employee travel, hire cars, meeting rooms bookings etc
  • Manage and control marketing material movements within the Swadlincote site.
  • Complete administrative tasks on behalf of company Directors and Management team; for example, collating expense receipts, produce presentations, organising team building events.
  • Personal Specification

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Have the ability to work accurately with high attention to detail
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and meet the demands of the department
  • Be able to prioritise and organise your workload effectively
  • Working knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV or other ERP systems would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have strong administration skills
  • Previous experience of diary management and cash handling is desirable
  • In return my client is offering a salary of £17,000 with a £1,600 bonus after probation. Working office hours, Monday to Friday.
