A leading online publisher requires a driven Business Development Manager to win new commercial clients for its popular digital marketing and advertising offering.
This role is office-based and the successful candidate will be joining an experienced sales team, selling packages to clients across various regions of the UK.
The successful candidate will :
Prospect for new business by telephone, email, LinkedIn and other channels
Sell a range of proven digital advertising and marketing options
Attend regional networking events and build new client relationships
Account manage existing and new key clients
Occasionally travel to regions outside of the North East
Contribute to the wider sales strategy of the business as part of the sales team They must :
Have demonstrable sales experience
Be enthusiastic to generate new leads themselves
Be confident in selling an online proposition
Be an excellent communicator, in-person and by email
Be willing to travel for client meetings and events
