Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside a popular Primary School in Barnet to recruit a Year 1 Teaching Assistant. Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Key Stage One Teaching Assistant to work in one of their Year 1 classes.
The role is due to commence in September 2018 and continue until July 2019. The successful candidate must be available to work five days per week, working 8 : 304 : 00pm.
Your daily rate of pay will be £80.00 per day. The school maintain a happy, orderly and respectful working environment. They develop and nurture the personal qualities of every pupil in school.

The children in Year 1 are very well behaved and enjoy attending school. The children are also respectful of one another and enjoy learning about all faiths and backgrounds.

A huge amount of support is provided to all staff by the Senior Leadership Team. The Headteacher is looking for an Early Years Educator with the following attributes : *Previous experience supporting pupils in Early Years or Key Stage One *Creative and engaging practitioner *A Teaching Assistant who has a genuine passion for supporting EYFS students *Resilient *A Teaching Assistant who is looking to commit to a role until July 2018 *Level 3 Qualification in Childcare This role will require you to support Year 1 pupils and assist the class teacher deliver the UK curriculum.
Several children will be joining the school who have been diagnosed with Autism, Speech and Language Communication Needs and Down Syndrome.
The successful applicants will have previous experience supporting pupils who have been diagnosed with Special Educational Needs an be calm, nurturing and caring practitioners.
The Year 1 Class has a permanent Teacher who will lead the learning along with three Learning Support Assistants to help raise attainment.
Your main responsibility will be to support your assigned pupil on a 1 : 1 basis by monitoring progress, observing lessons, liaising with parents and reporting back to the class teacher and the Inclusion manager.
The school is very easily accessible via the Northern Line and Jubilee Line allowing easy access to the school from North and South London.
Parking is available for staff who wish to drive. The successful candidate will be working in a school where every success is celebrated for both staff and pupils.
