Title : Project Officer
An exciting opportunity for a 3-6 month 3 month minimum internship working as a project officer at a young and growing national charity headquartered in central London.
This is a part time position , initially for three days a week , starting ASAP . There is potential for a contract to be offered beyond the extended internship period , depending on the candidate’s suitability and performance.
About Frazzled Cafe
Frazzled Cafe ( is a registered charity with a focus on mental wellbeing that runs peer support meetings across the UK for people feeling overwhelmed by the stresses of modern life.
With the support of MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) trained volunteer facilitators we run fortnightly peer support meetings in select Marks & Spencer stores across the country, providing people with an opportunity to come together and share their personal stories in a safe, confidential and non-

This role has opportunities for travel within the UK and participation in meetings and events with senior business leaders.
This role will report directly to the Director .
Responsibilities will include :
Project delivery and development
Play a key role in current project development , including development of project resources
Carry out research and project concept development
Logistics and Admin
Lead on administrative tasks including scheduling & preparing invitations to Frazzled Cafe meetings , CRM management and travel and logistical arrangements
Compile and evaluate KPI reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to review of processes and systems management
Develop a social media strategy and content for social media channels and website
Pursue opportunities for promoting awareness of our services with relevant press (regional & national) and local community organisations.
Test and refine Google Adwords programme
Fundraising and contract management
Contribute to bid writing and preparing funding applications
Support corporate sponsorship fundraising initiative currently being piloted for potential expansion
Monitoring and evaluation
Design and roll-out ongoing participant feedback surveys
Evaluate survey data and present conclusions / proposals for next steps to internal stakeholders
Lead on the development and roll out of a survey to capture long-term participant impact
Review and analyse external research from relevant studies
Evaluate impact of marketing and publicity utilising Google Analytics
Opportunity to get involved in the design and delivery of volunteer recruitment and training program
Develop content for volunteer portal on website and monthly team meetings via Google Hangouts
The candidate : Key requirements
Ideally post graduate although suitable graduate applications and / or equivalent work experience will be considered (2 : 1 degree minimum)
Advanced knowledge of and practical experience using Microsoft (Word, Excel & Powerpoint), internet based tools (Google G Suite, Surveymonkey, Squarespace, etc.
and social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn)
Knowledge and understanding of project management and experience of working in a project environment
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to engage and communicate effectively with external stakeholders
Discretion and compassion when handling sensitive information
Effective and efficient research experience
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately
Outstanding organisation skills and attention to detail
Positive, creative and flexible approach to problem solving
Self-starter who can oversee projects from start to finish
Willing and able to work remotely part of the time
Candidate needs to able to commute in London as team working / meeting locations will typically be the Google campus in Shoreditch or a working space in Tottenham Court Road.
