    About the role

    The purpose of the role is to provide financial support and advice to budget holders across one of HEE's regions including budget monitoring, forecasting and variance analysis.

    The post holder will work as part of a regional financial management team and responsibilities will include :

  • Provision of a financial management service to budget holders and Trusts
  • Ensure financial performance is accurately reported, in a timely manner
  • Ensure reporting mechanisms are maintained in order to deliver efficient and accurate information and reporting
  • Strong, up-to-date excel skills with demonstrable evidence of advanced excel use in current / most recent role
  • Manipulation of large datasets and ability to interpret and apply sometimes complex financial models to raw data as prescribed
  • Some knowledge of macros is advantageous
  • Whilst making use of available technology, there is a requirement to travel across the region on a regular basis.
