Our team in Manchester currently has an opening for a Customer Service Advisor


Purpose of Position

Tocontribute to the depot’s EBITDA by the efficient and effective handling andprocessing of customer orders

Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Primary contact for specific Depot allocated customers

Processing of all Direct Delivery orders and Purchase Orders andliasing with Suppliers

Primary contact for Water Treatment enquiries

Monitoring and completion of Customers own stock replenishments

Receipt and processing of customers orders onto M4 computersystem.

Documentation of all relevant information from customer orders.

Check and validate customer confirmation purchase orders.

Regularly update information on system including maintenance ofrecords on customer pricing

Receive and process enquiries, ensure follow up.

Process Return Inwards Notes.

General administration to include filing and post.

Liase with other sales staff to maximise sales opportunities.

Communication with customer regarding concessions and any otherrequired information.

Documentation of customer complaints

Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned bythe Customer Experience Manager from time to time, related to the effective andefficient performance of the job, and providing they are within the postholders skills and ability.


Qualifications Required

Minimumof Grade C achieved for GCSE Mathematics & English or equivalent

Experience & Knowledge

Proven experience in a similar role (customer facing roleessential).

Experience in taking and processing all orders, enquiries andcomplaints in a business with high volume processing.

Workingwithin a fast paced environment
