A Secondary school is looking to recruit a confident and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to start with them following the Autumn half term (October 2020).
This part-time support position is to start on Monday 12th October ideally with the possibility of commencing sooner for the right candidate who is available.
The successful Teaching Assistant will report to the school’s SENCo and be given a specific cohort of pupil premium students to support within mainstream classes.
The role of this SEN Teaching Assistant will include general support of students with SEMH difficulties, across KS3. You may also be required to act as a Cover Supervisor as and when needed due to members of staff having to shield due to COVID.
Any individuals with transferable skills of working with young people who have special educational needs (SEN) are encouraged to apply now for consideration.
This role would suit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, youth worker with experience of supporting students in a school setting or a support worker who has worked with young people in the community.
