As a result of our continued ground breaking growth in EMEA, Salesforce is hiring a Counsel to join our EMEA Commercial Legal team, based in one of our offices in London (with ability to work remotely for a big part of the time).

Role Description : We are looking for a a high-performing, results-oriented Counsel who will play a key role in supporting EMEA Salesforce’s Commercial Legal team.

This position will report to a Senior Corporate Counsel and work closely with other commercial legal team members across the region.

Main Responsibilities : Actively drive the Commercial Legal teams’ ongoing development of knowledge, skills and processes to increase EMEA Commercial Legal’s velocity in handling legal matters.

This will include identifying and implementing new processes and innovations Autonomously handle legal requests with low to moderate complexity to help support the sales and professional services organizations accross all EMEA such as RFPs, NDAs, vendor accreditation processes, security / privacy-related questionnaires, drafting of clauses in Order Forms, approval of Order Forms and help translating when needed Closely partner with other functions within Salesforce (including legal operations, privacy, security, finance and compliance) to allow Salesforce’s continuous growth Assist in developing training materials and provide training to the business on relevant legal topics and best practices Look after yourself, your colleagues and the company’s interest in everything you do Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills : Qualified in the UK or another major European jurisdiction Empathy, curiosity, enthusiasm - an overall a good human being Between 3 to 6 years combined post-qualification experience in a law firm and / or fast-paced in-house legal department Excellent written and verbal communication as well as negotiation skills Excellent command of English, both written and oral Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills applied to legal, business and operational issues Strong knowledge of Data Protection law (including GDPR) Adaptable, pro-active and resilient with a desire to continually learn and develop professionally Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high-energy, client-oriented culture with excellent judgement and ability to prioritize and manage deadlines Calm under pressure and practical and able to provide thoughtful recommendations, even with large volume of legal work thrown at them Team spirited and collaborative attitude Highly Desirable Experience & Skills : No fear of working in a a constantly changing environment Embracing change as a necessary step for any development Demonstrable experience of working in international legal environment ideally in (or for) a tech company Project management experience Experience in supporting sales departments as an internal client Fluency in other European languages, especially French, is highly valued Interest in tech and digital services in general Sense of humour About Salesforce Founded in 1999, Salesforce is the global leader in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
