Winnersh based with flexible remote working a few days a week

Joining a team, the Local Technical Service Support Administrator will be responsible for executing the administrative related tasks in support of the technical service operations, mastering the use of BD TS system’s applications and processes.

The core responsibility for this role is to provide day to day efficient and accurate completion of all the administrative related tasks, aimed to support the effectiveness of the technical service field operations.

The position reports to the Area Team Leader or to the Local Technical Service Support Office Coordinator depending on the size of office / operations.

This is a 6 month fixed term contract with potential extension.

Main responsibilities will include :

  • Provide administrative support to the technical service organization and field operations in the assigned geographical territory
  • Create and maintain accurately updated customers and instruments records and data quality in Service Max system, LOTS & SAP (near future) as required
  • Manage technical service call flow as first point of contact for internal & external customers (phone & e-mails), also respond to incoming e-mails via central inbox within required time frame.
  • Partnering with overall process involved stakeholders (FSE’s, Finance, CTSO, Sales, Systems and Business processes) in order to enhance interdepartmental effective collaboration and successfully completion of interconnected tasks
  • Process master data and information records in our systems (Service Max, LOTS, LMS) and instruments order entry management and movement, according to business processes
  • About you

    To be successful in this role you’ll need a proven administration track record in which you’ve delivered an excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

    In addition to being a well-developed Back office Administrator, you’ll also bring :

  • Proven work experience as an operations administrator or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) and great customer focus is essential.
  • Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and other systems such as LOTS / SAP, Service Max.
  • High level of spoken and written English
