Thames Valley & Wessex ODNs are hosted by Oxford University NHS Foundation Trust (OUH) and managed in partnership with NHS England have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead for TYA Cancer to support the ODN team.
This is a 3 year contract for 2pas (subject to recurrent funding)
The ODNs are established to deliver whole system work programmes which are based on the NHS Outcomes Framework. The ODNs work with the Hospital Trusts, national Clinical Reference Group Chairs, Regional Programme of Care Leads, NHS England, CCGs, Health Education England and Public Health England to deliver programmes of work to achieve better outcomes for each patient group.
The Clinical Lead for TYA Cancer ODN will provide leadership across the ODN, acting as a source of expertise, advice and knowledge for healthcare professionals.
You will be a strategic lead in the designation of centres as per the new service specifications. You will work closely with the commissioning of these units and work as part of a commissioning team.
You would work with the ODN Manager, Educational Lead and Lead Nurse as part of a multi-disciplinary leadership team to lead the strategic and operational development of coherent and effective ODN arrangements, and delivery of a programme of work that addresses national and local priorities.
