Your New Job
The role of Accounts Administrator is to manage all areas of transactional finance on behalf of the business, with particular focus on ensuring the ledger is accurately maintained and up to date.
Reporting to a finance manager, you will have full responsibility for managing the ledgers end to end including creating the sales invoices and allocating payments to appropriate customer accounts.
This will also cover some credit control, ensuring debt is chased and collected in a timely manner, resolving queries and providing excellent service to external contacts.
You will undertake bank reconciliation, produce reports and assist with the month end close. You will generate credit notes and reconcile and investigate items within the general ledger.
You will be a highly process driven individual as this role requires working to tight deadlines and ensuring all work completed is of an exceptionally accurate standard and in line with company processes.
Your Experience & Our Requirements
To be considered for this role you must have a background in transactional finance and recent exposure to ledger work, credit control, bank reconciliation, ad-hoc reports and month end close down.
You will be a diligent, efficient individual who is able to work on their own initiative and with limited supervision whilst possessing a friendly, team-focussed attitude.
You will be looking to work in Blackburn on a full time basis and be exceptionally well presented with excellent communication skills.
