What does the role involve?

  • We are looking for a senior commercial solicitor to undertake a wide range of work including advice on commercial contracts, outsourcing;
  • projects, IT agreements, intellectual property and data protection.

    As part of our top-ranked team based in Birmingham, you will be working with partner Jayne Hussey, as well as other members of our large and friendly team, drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including standard terms and conditions, long term supply and purchasing agreements, outsourcing agreements, distributorship and agency agreements, website terms of use and privacy policies, supply contracts and outsourcing agreements.

    You will also be advising on intellectual property ownership issues and data protection documentation. You will also assist colleagues with commercial work for our education and health sector clients.

    What experience is required?

  • You will have 4 years post qualification experience gained in a large regional or City firm.
  • You will have good technical skills in commercial law with an interest in IP and IT. You will be a commercially-minded lawyer with an interest in business with a willingness to get involved in a wide variety of work.
