Our highly successful and busy Lower Thames Crossingteam is currently seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced GroundInvestigation Project Manager.
Reporting to Ground Investigation Delivery Manager.
The successful candidate will be required todemonstrate the following :
Toensure relevant construction interface issues are identified, resolved andmonitored.
Workingwith subject matter experts identify areas requiring further constructionreview / challenge
Promoteopportunities for synergy and reduce and manage the risk of scope gaps andmisalignment between the contractor and in-house technicalteams
Workingwith the GI Delivery Manager to promote coordination and integration betweenteams.
Activelysupport the development of cost, schedule and reporting (weekly reports,monthly dashboards and reports, presentations, etc.
and ensure therequirements are met
Assistthe GI Delivery Manager in all phases and aspects of the work stream
Buildand maintain positive working relationships with a wide group of people andteams internally.
Workwith the Stakeholder, Environment team and DCO teams to ensure that consentsand approvals are granted for the advance works
Toconsider project legacy and in all decision making in the same way as cost,risk and time
Tohold health, safety and welfare (HSW) as a key project value and to participatein the creation, development and implementation of HSW strategies by theproject leadership team

Previousrecord / s to demonstrate successful delivery of projects to time, cost qualitystandards across all stages of project lifecycle
Demonstrableexperience of successfully working in / adapting the philosophy of a One Team’environment within an NEC contract context
Teamoriented leader with the ability to work closely with peers; delegate, motivateand empower individuals and teams
Demonstrableexperience of working in a major infrastructure project in a similar industryand / or to working in a matrix and dispersed team
Preferableto have on site experience working closely with contractors during early stagesof a project
Structuredand methodical working methods
Experienceof the management and delivery of portfolios of enabling works and surveys
Strongself and team organisational skills along with pro-active and independentworking
Abilityto communicate in a variety of medium’s to a variety of audiences
Teamoriented with the ability to work closely with others, self-motivated andenthusiastic
Stronginterpersonal skills and personal resilience to working underpressure / different styles of leadership / getting things done
Highlevel of competence with Microsoft Office and other basic software, as wellbeing interested in further developing their IT effectiveness
