PSI has an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Supervisor to join a team in Birmingham. The Maintenance Supervisor will be providing day to day support to the operations and maintenance teams and providing effective communication and supervision of employees and contractors when carrying out activities on site.
You would also cover shifts as and when required.
Maintenance Supervisor - Main Duties
The Day Shift Engineer will be responsible for :
Ensuring compliance with all aspects of the site Environmental Permits.
Assist with facilitating training courses and maintaining records for all site personnel.
Managing a small team to efficiently operate the ERF and Clinical plant and equipment as required by operational demands.
Shift working as and when required.
The primary Senior Authorised Person during Plant Outages.
Provide efficient work scheduling and planning.
Maintenance Supervisor - Experience Required :
Relevant electro-mechanical / power engineering qualifications / experience
A strong no-compromise approach to health and safety and environmental compliance
Excellent communication skills
Strong leadership skills, with an ability to mentor and coach individuals effectively
To have worked on a shift rota previously and understand the demands
Extensive and proven knowledge of the waste / power industry including legislative knowledge
Experience of operating energy from a waste facility or power station
Knowledge of google docs as well as word products
