The Transfers team sits within the Asset Servicing area of Operations and Customer Services. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role holder is, under limited supervision responsible for executing all client requests to transfer portfolios and assets in and out of Interactive Investor and all internal account transfers and Sharegift movements.
Ensuring these are processed accurately whilst meeting client expectations and adhering to regulatory guidelines. We work in a fast paced, target driven environment so attention to detail, efficiency, ability to handle multiple priorities, and accuracy is key.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES :
Ensure all requests to transfer in and out of General Trading, SIPP and ISA accounts are serviced accurately and within our service level agreements.
Execute internal transfers and Sharegift donations.
Liaise with external agencies where appropriate to resolve requests and actively chase any outstanding transfers.
Add ISA subscription payments in accordance with HMRC regulatory requirements.
Be available to efficiently and effectively answer all client queries or those referred by other departments.
Ensure the accurate and timely settlement of electronic broker to broker transfers and cross borders.
Achieve accurate performance and productivity targets.
Minimise risk to the business by meeting or exceeding service error rates and adhering to customer authentication processes.
Present a positive impression of yourself and Interactive Investor when contacting clients to welcome them to the business.
Adhere to mandatory training timings to maintain the appropriate knowledge, skills and expertise to carry out the role competently.
Treat customers fairly at all times.
Maintain the first line of compliance defence by ensuring individual adherence to business processes and procedures that are designed to meet the regulatory standards set out in the relevant FCA rules and guidance.
Continued adherence & delivery of Regulatory Operations practices and will work in partnership with other teams to ensure successful delivery of all BAU processes / projects.
Make informed risk decisions and effectively and credibly debate and challenge management recommendations within your role in line with the approved Risk Appetite Framework
Analyzing operational processes, identifying and progressing opportunities for improvement.
Work as part of a team, supporting colleagues and promoting a positive work environment & team spirit.
Assistance with ad hoc and scheduled projects as required
Aid compilation and updating of MI as required.
Assist with system testing as required
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Interest in the Financial Services Sector specifically Wealth Management
Ability to understand Investment products; characteristics and applications
Advanced level of flexibility to move between different tasks at short notice.
Approaches all situations with positive outlook, energy and enthusiasm with advanced resilience , drive and initiative
