The Lead Build TD works within build department to support the Build Supervisor to use consistent methodologies to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget in a sustainable way.
The will be expected to work with artists and technicians across a wide range of disciplines to deliver world-class assets.
It is expected that they have an awareness all aspects of the film VFX build pipeline and are good communicators, excellent problems solvers, and have the ability manage people and projects in a dynamic collaborative way.
Minimum 4 years high-end feature film VFX experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience leading teams
Broad range of build-discipline knowledge with experience in modelling, texturing, look development, and rendering
Critical eye for details and strong visual sensibilities with an accurate perception of anatomy, form, scale and proportions
Experience using software Ideally Maya, Mari, Zbrush, & Nuke
Expert knowledge in at least one build discipline is preferred
Experience developing and maintain tool / workflow documentation
Showreel demonstrating experience developing hard surface, organic, and creature assets.
