Our combined Risk & Finance IT and Finance Change teams are establishing a platform based operating model that will ensure change programs leverage the platform to deliver business outcomes in a consistent, sustainable and controlled way.

We are looking for a Data Sourcing Lead BA within the Finance big data platform team.
You should have both a strong theoretical understanding and extensive practical experience in the following areas, and should be able to demonstrate that expertise with concrete examples.
Work as a Lead Business Analyst within the program. The role will be reporting into the F1 Platform Global Data Sourcing Lead.
Be accountable for the timely and high quality agile team deliveries for the data sourcing initiatives under your remit.
This will include, initially but not limited to, data sourcing initiatives to support the ADAC Decommissioning and Basel IV capital calculation business outcomes.
Extensive coordination with the Business to understand the target business process, and the data attributes and data sources required to perform the in-scope tasks efficiently.
Determine OLAs and SLAs with upstream data providers, and ensure that the appropriate data controls are implemented.
Coordinate with the business to understand current critical points, and assist with root cause analysis on data quality issues to provide strategic solutions.
Integrate new data sources into the F1 Platform. Ensure the maintenance of the Platform interface inventory.
Determine data validation and enrichment controls for new data sources. This includes feedback mechanisms to upstream data providers.
Understand and leverage golden sources of transaction and reference data across both the Swiss and Non-Swiss infrastructure.
Provide SME input to enable the continual progression of the F1 Data Model.
Ensure full compliance with the relevant CDO data governance requirements.
Large exposure to a wide group of business partners.
Further develop understanding of financial products, business processes and systems, IT architecture, data governance.
Open to discussing flexible / agile working.
Proven business analysis experience, combined with strong business and functional understanding. Demonstrate experience of how a bank’s finance function operates (including understanding of the firm’s front to back data architecture and operating model at the enterprise wide level, and in the context of the finance function).
Detailed knowledge of application, data and infrastructure as they relate to finance business processes and excellent Investment banking product knowledge is essential.
Proven ability to prioritise and work under pressure in a multi-disciplinary, fast paced global environment, delivering products within specific timescales and working alongside multiple senior business partners effectively.
Proven track record of program delivery of change across both business and technology architecture, ideally with an understanding of big data technology.
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of a project lifecycle (including Waterfall / AGILE / Scrum project methodology).
Knowledge of / experience with data, including : Proficient knowledge of data control frameworks including how data flows front to back through the bank’s architecture, and how data integrity is maintained with golden sources of data.
Experience of implementing single data sourcing from authorized golden sources of data, and use by multiple consumers in a well-controlled manner.
Knowledge of how data reconciliations can be removed by design, and replaced with exception-based controls. Experience of creating data control frameworks, and understanding of how business logic can be abstracted from platform code.
Knowledge of conceptual data models, logical and physical data models and how these relate to the business processes and functions that they support.
