    Experience / Person Specification / skills :

  • Must have full legal rights to work in the country. Evidence will be required
  • Previous experience in facilities or hospitality industry is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast paced environment
  • Highly motivated
  • Fluent English, verbal and written
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexibility
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Job Dimensions :

  • To supervise the FOH catering operation, control and maintain standards and expectations of all food outlets, restaurant floor, and till stations with strategic planning for growth and profitability of the business
  • To lead front of house staff and till operation during busy breakfast and lunch service.
  • Cash reporting, invoicing, and banking
  • Ensure all staff carry out their duties to the expected high standards
  • Ensuring that required work is completed to the expected high standards
  • Ensuring staff arrive and leave the building as per schedule
  • Delegation of work to Operatives as required
  • Allocation and reorganisation of staff within the building as and when necessary
  • Ad hoc duties as required
  • To promote the Health and Wellbeing of THE team.
  • To ensure all FOH areas are always left clean and tidy
  • To ensure that all stores and other areas of potential loss are always secured.
  • To take responsibility for all cash and keys in line with the procedure that you have agreed and instigated in the unit.
  • To carry out any reasonable senior management request.
  • To receive and implement any training required
  • Infrequent Duties :

  • To assist at any special duties or functions which may fall outside of normal working hours
  • To report any customer complaints or compliments and take remedial action wherever possible
  • To attend meetings, courses and training sessions as may be necessary from time to time
  • To relieve and assist in other areas within the unit or other establishments.
  • Skills, Experience and Attributes :

  • Strong people development skills and the ability to motivate the team.
  • At least 2 years in similar position
  • At least 3 years of people management skills.
  • Professional qualification in cooking or hospitality or Degree level qualification would be a bonus.
  • Level 1 food hygiene or equivalent.
  • Passion for food and service and the ability to manage change.
  • Comfortable to lead and take responsibilities.
  • Customer Relations

  • Encourage good relations with all clients on contract site
  • Promptly deal with any queries or complaints
  • Promote ISS Ireland
  • Training

  • Partake in basic induction training for new staff
  • Partake in ongoing training from supervisor
  • Cooperate with safe working practices
  • HSEQ

  • Understand how ISO fits into daily business operations.
  • Read, understand and work in accordance with the company’s HSEQ Policies.
  • Complete tasks in accordance with company HSEQ procedures and work instructions
  • Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
  • Use of Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment (w / a)
  • Other features of the job

    It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours.

    As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and / or meetings and travel to other locations may be required.

    Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
