Binnies are hiring for a Lead Mechanical Engineer
Locations : Redhill, Bradford-on Avon, Birmingham, Chester
Purpose : Functions as a technical specialist or supervisory role. Independently develops and applies advanced engineering techniques, concepts and approaches to unique engineering problems.
May supervise engineering staff on projects of medium to high complexity, or serve as a technical specialist providing knowledge and expertise.

Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognised accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
Should have extensive experience working in partnering and alliance projects within the water industry.
Clean water and wastewater engineering systems design experience including equipment specification, pumped and gravity hydraulic design, plant layout, working knowledge of other discipline needs, preparation of plant and equipment layouts, change and risk management, preparation of technical and economic evaluations for mechanical plant.
Detailed knowledge of clean water and wastewater engineering systems.
Working knowledge of pressure systems, integrated system design, relevant manufacturing processes, testing and commissioning practices, procurement processes, strong knowledge of codes and practices, CDM, understand environmental management, planning process, document control.
