Job Description : The team
The UK Business Analyst team consists of 15 BA’s across the business and IT domains, located in Colchester, London and York.
The team is passionate about continually improving how Business Analysis is conducted throughout the UK and the successful candidate can look forward to participating in and benefiting from this team ethos.
This role will be aligned to our Partnerships division. The Partnerships team is a well-established contributor to the profitable growth of our Direct business.
Hiscox Partnerships have traditionally been built around our market leading HNW proposition, working with a range of associations to distribute our Home products to their members.
As Hiscox Direct has diversified, the Partnerships team has evolved with it and is now increasing focus on the rapid expansion of distribution of our SME proposition, built around the intelligent use of data, placing customer UX over the pre-requisite of high standard products and integrating with third parties to fundamentally improve the way SME customers are serviced by the insurance industry.
This role will span the project lifecycle, from initial concept, business case, scoping and requirements through to working with technical delivery teams to successfully implement the changes you have defined, finally handing them over to business as usual.
As well as IT deliveries there may also be elements of Business as Usual (BAU) analysis to optimise existing processes for both Hiscox and our partners.
The role will be based in York, with occasional travel to UK offices where required.
