Role : Inbound Sales Development Representative

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Inbound Sales representative to join Gamma on a permanent basis. This role plays a key part in the lead generation function at Gamma, with the primary objective of generating new business opportunities for field sales from responses to inbound enquiries and proactive engagement with prospects via the website chatbot.

To be successful, you will need to be highly motivated, persistent in nature, be willing to learn and understand different pitches by product or target profile and have excellent communication skills.

Key accountabilities :

Generate new business opportunities through responding to and engaging with inbound enquiries and website visitors via the chat bot, to pass on to field sales aligned to qualification criteria and using calling guides provided

  • Achieve a range of key performance indicators month on month including, but not limited to, completion of open tasks, calls answered, average talk time and successful meetings generated
  • Track all activity in GammaHub (Salesforce CRM) following the processes outlined
  • Learn and utilise the sales methodologies used by Gamma to accurately qualify opportunities
  • Work closely with field sales teams to gain feedback on opportunities and meeting outcomes to continue to improve and develop pitch and approach
  • Develop a good understanding of target vertical markets, common pain points and Gamma's value proposition
  • Develop a good understanding of the telecommunications market, the competitive landscape and our products and services
  • Undertake regular training and coaching sessions as and when required
  • Key relationships :

    This role is fundamental to the new business lead generation function for the Direct Sales teams at Gamma, as such maintaining excellent relationships with the wider sales and sales leadership team is key, who will in turn play a part in your ongoing development in the role.

    In addition, this role is fully aligned with the Direct Marketing team, who will support with messaging and access to additional insights, collateral, and templated material to share with prospects where appropriate.

    The success of this role and overall lead generation performance is regularly reported to the Senior Management team in the Direct business and wider Group Leadership stakeholders.

    Person requirements :

    Sales skills

  • Confidence talking to new people, with a strong desire to compete and succeed is key
  • Good listener and communicator, fluent in English and able to deal with people at all levels of business and with people of varying technical capability
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points and requirements

    Preferred experience (advantageous)

  • Experience in a similar sales or customer-facing role with a proven track record of achieving targets is preferred, but not essential
  • Experience in the Telecoms / IT industry or B2B sales is also preferred but not essential

    Education / qualifications : Educated to tertiary level with minimum GCSE in English, Maths and Science. Having a degree level qualification would be desired.

    Skills : PC skills to intermediate level MS Office especially PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with CRM systems.

    Skills with Salesforce and LinkedIn would be desired.
