About the role
As a Data Analyst, your key responsibilities will be :
making relating to the Guardian's readership and product development
Design, agree, and proactively analyse
Contribute to data analytics practice and innovation at a team level
Build stories from data that influence stakeholder’s business decisions
To be considered for this role, we’re looking for you to already have some experience working in a similar data analytics-
focused role, ideally within the media sector. You’ll feel comfortable working with large data sets and using your SQL skills to query data, and then present visually in a format that’s easy to digest by non-
technical colleagues, using Tableau or similar software such as Power BI.
You’ll enjoy thinking strategically with data, and understand the bigger picture , so that you can work with editorial colleagues to identify exactly what business questions need to be answered, and come up with an appropriate solution.
