As a Team Support Officer within the Lighthouse Safeguarding Unit, you will be providing administrative support to a team of staff and managers working directly with members of the public who have experienced crime or anti-

social behaviour. You will respond to enquiries and correspondence (including complaints), prioritise and allocating new referrals, gather management information and help to keep internal documents and the website up to date.

You will act as a point of contact for internal and external partners, ensuring that enquiries and referrals into the unit are handled appropriately.

We are looking for people who have the ability to provide a consistently excellent level of customer service, so the successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

You will be able to deal effectively with people at all levels, including both face to face and over the phone. You should have experience managing and prioritising your own workload.

You will have experience working in an office role, using a range of administrative skills. You will also have good understanding of MS office and are confident navigating a range of different computer systems.

Experience working in a customer-facing environment would be very useful, as well as experience working collaboratively with partner agencies.

The successful candidate can choose to work from Express Park (Bridgwater) or Bridewell. Interviews will take place at Bridgwater Police Centre.
