We are seeking a Maths teacher to teach Maths at a secondary school in Bristol from September 2019. This is a full-time Maths teacher role but a part-
time Maths teacher will also be considered. The role is currently due to finish at February half term 2020. The Maths teacher role includes planning and marking, and we can pay to scale up to MPS6 depending upon your level of experience.
The Maths teacher timetable is flexible and can focus on Key Stage 3 or 4, or a combination of both. There may be the opportunity for this Maths teacher role to become a permanent position for the right Maths teacher.
The school is based in North East Bristol and is an all through phase academy for students aged 4 to 16 years of age. It is part of one of the south west’s leading multi-
academy trusts, and one of the largest in the city of Bristol. The secondary site caters for just over 1000 students and in their last Ofsted Inspection in 2018 the school retained its Good’ status in all categories .
The Maths department is well established with strong leadership and a full team of support staff in place. It is in turn supported by a robust and stable SLT at the school.
We have been working directly with this schools for several years and we are their first port of call for all supply needs.
They are very welcoming to new members of staff and are extremely supportive. They have a strong behaviour policy in place which you will be expected to adhere to and uphold alongside the rest of the team.
We have previously placed several staff into long-time and permanent positions within the school and has a good reputation within our staff who praise its organisation, high standards and expectations.
