Background Primary purpose : Key responsibilities :

  • Manage Campaign Management & Warranty Recovery functions and their associated people resources within M&E
  • Manage processes, systems and people to deliver robust action plans on-time in line with department KPI’s.
  • Process owner of existing / new systems developed for the purpose of enhancing Campaign Management & Warranty Recovery processes.
  • Responsibility for the accuracy of KPI dashboards and metrics
  • Preparation of Campaign & Warranty Recovery function MBR / Ops Packs
  • Partner with Finance to ensure governance of functional Cost Avoidance numbers reported to MBR / Ops
  • Manage and improve on the Warranty Provision cost recovery.
  • Manage inter-departmental relationships within Aggreko to set and measure SLA’s e.g. Retrofit Completions reports, Warranty Recovery Reports
  • Indicative performance measures / Key interdependencies :

    Success will be measured by improvements in Campaign & Warranty recovery functional KPI’s demonstrated through department performance dashboards.

    Person Specification :

    This leader must be a data driven manager with strong influencing and communication skills. They must also have an intimate understanding of Campaign, Warranty & Service management processes and systems.

    Education / Qualifications

    Degree qualified / Service function experience preferred. Six Sigma Black Belt certification minimum.

    Professional skills / experience

    This leader must have an engineering / service background and be experienced in supporting field issues as part of a sustaining engineering or product service team.

    He or she is also expected to be a strong project leader that can drive timely results. This leader is also expected to drive improved campaign management an warranty recovery in real terms.

    This leader should also have a track record of leading teams of engineering and data analysis professionals and have excellent communication skills.

    He or she must be capable of putting together functional reports for senior management.

    Personal skills / experience & Aggreko Desired Behaviours

    Minimum of 5+ years in management of operations / service management of engineered mechanical / electrical equipment required.

    Strong data analysis and communication skills. Well organized programme manager. Detailed understanding of asset operating costs and customer cost models preferred.

    What role is the successful candidate likely to be carrying out at present?

    The best candidate would be an operations / services manager who has the ability to deliver KPI performance under pressure.

    This should focus on delivery of programme improvement.
