This is an excellent position for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Small Business Team in Maidstone.
You will be working with a team of insurance professionals who are recognised as experts within their field. To work as part of this successful and dynamic team, you will be customer focused and team oriented in order to deliver an excellent customer journey.
Your main role is to meet all business targets in relation to the servicing of Broker and Client accounts and queries ensuring you underwrite within defined parameters in a consistent and profitable manner.
You will be given opportunities to seek new business, develop existing relationships and renew existing cases. You will need to use your strong analytical and communication skills, as well as technical knowledge to influence our brokers and develop strong trading relationships.
On a daily basis, you'll ensure customer satisfaction by building rapport and provide excellent service to external and internal customers and in the long term, ensure customer retention.

Alongside this you will learn to underwrite Allianz products and develop your trading and soft skills over the course of an 8 week induction programme.
After this time, your development will continue with further specialist training.
Handle general customer queries via the telephone and in writing within agreed service standards. Underwrite new business and or renewals and mid-term adjustments.
Take referrals from other underwriters where appropriate and within own authority level
Negotiate within authority and referring where appropriate to maximise customer retention including persuading, influencing and convincing customers of the benefits of an opposed course of action.
Anticipate likely objections and build effective responses
