Your future duties and responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our Emerging Technology offerings and take these to market as part of our wider Digital Transformation Practice.

Specifically, you will be working with existing and potential clients within the Healthcare sector. In this role you will help to develop relationships with C-suite stakeholders in Emerging Technology areas, both internal and external, to enable selling and delivery of our digital transformation capabilities.

As a senior consultant you will be required to analyses business problems, draw appropriate conclusions and present potential solutions, as well as designing , communicating and supporting the implementation of agreed solutions.

Your role will also include gathering relevant information in the resolution of the business and / or technical issue and then producing quality output including reports, presentations and other documentation.

You will be required to define and shapes solutions which contribute, directly or as part of a wider offering, to delivering value to the client and CGI, as well as understanding healthcare technology offerings and their applicability to issues across patient, provider and partner domains.

You will effectively utilise different analysis models, understanding their benefits and limitations, whilst also understanding the commercial context of the engagement and the parameters in which they operate.

Other responsibilities include :

  • Proactively drawing upon your own network of contacts as well as building relationships with new internal and external contacts
  • Facilitating senior client and internal meetings with structure, rigour and contextual grounding
  • Required qualifications to be successful in this role

    We are looking for a proven track record in consulting (both selling and delivering) within the Healthcare sector in a consulting capacity across business and technology domains.

    The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of pressures and opportunities across the Healthcare sector from a patient, provider and partner perspective.

    You will have demonstrable exposure to, and experience with dynamics and trends shaping Healthcare technologies, as well as having in-depth understanding of funding, budgeting and financial decision making within Healthcare in the UK.

    It’s essential that you have experience of working with senior c-suite stakeholders, managing their expectations and being able to present to them.

    You must have the ability to manage multiple work-streams, think 'on your feet' and inspire confidence. You will have great attention to detail and accuracy and a proven ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment, with a results and performance-oriented work style

    Ideally we are looking for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and works effectively and confidently under pressure and in different working environments and locations.

    You will also have good working knowledge and prior application of structured problem solving techniques and analysis models

    This opportunity will be primarily focused on clients across the north of England, and so we are willing to consider candidates who are happy being based out of either our Manchester, Liverpool or Newcastle offices.

    However, you must have a flexible attitude towards travel.
