time basis from January 2019. Reporting to the Head Teacher through the Director of Study for Science, the successful Science teacher will be responsible for teaching the pupils assigned to them according to their educational needs, including the setting and marking of work at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level.
Full-time Science role. January 2019 start date. KS3 and GCSE Science - Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Large successful secondary school in central Manchester.
Our partner school is a high performing Catholic secondary school with over 850 pupils on roll easily accessible from the A34 bypass and the M56 and M60 motorway networks.
In recent years the school has had significant success in their exam results. In 2012, the school achieved their best ever results with 95% of pupils gaining five or more GCSE's at A C, 74% including English and Maths.
The building work has recently had an estimated investment of £11.2 million. The renovation work was part of the Building Schools for the Future programme -
the Government's investment in rebuilding and refurbishing secondary schools in England and as a result, the school has a new, high specification science block, lecture theatre, sports hall, ICT suites, astro turf pitch and reception area.
