The Role

We are looking for an IT Support 2nd Line to join our growing IT team based at our Support Centre in Watford.

The role is to provide both 1st and 2nd Line support to our approx. 3000 users. The successful candidate will be a strong team player with the ability to support and help develop colleagues.

Key Accountabilities

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line IT support services within a growing support environment dealing with a rapidly expanding client base
  • Supporting and maintaining server and desktop operating systems, bespoke and commercial systems and services, networking and hardware
  • Ensure user customer satisfaction in every step of the process; monitoring your queue, identifying any potential or actual SLA failures and notifying the relevant party
  • Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar 2nd Line role with good understanding of all networking principles
  • Experience of developing colleagues capabilities
  • Excellent customer service experience with strong communication skills
  • Team player with good work ethic
