Outcome Islington Mind LGBTQ+ Service - support our therapeutic drop-in - an opportunity for a member of the LGBTQ+ community
Outcome, the LGBTQ+ service of Islington Mind where LGBTQ+ people experiencing mental distress can interact and socialise in a safe non-
judgemental space and access therapies and activities.
We are looking to offer a volunteering placement opportunity to a member of the LGBTQ+ community, interested in mental health.
You will be part of our specialist LGBTQ+ team and will support our therapeutic drop-in, be responsible for the running of our specialist projects (Freedom from Fear to Love supporting LGBTQ+ asylum seekers and refugees, United in String supporting LBT women experiencing domestic violence).
The project runs on Tuesdays 10 : 30-16 : 00 and you will be expected to commit to every Tuesday 10 : 00 17 : 00 for at least 1 full year.
Volunteering for more than one day is an option.
Regular supervision as well as training opportunities will be provided.
