Job Details

This initiative is established and is in piloting phase. We have need of additional support to assist projects with the roll out of the existing workpacks approach on new projects, as well as executing sub-projects within the build workpacks initiative that continuously improve upon and develop the approach

Responsibilities of the role

  • Working with and coaching project teams in PCSA and early mobilization stages to incorporate workpack execution into their delivery approach, with workpack types, instances, and planned delivery dates assigned for the complete projects
  • Working with our Systems Engineering & Assurance and Digital and Data teams, develop the Workpack Type library establishing the hosting location and content curation methods
  • Working with our Digital and Data teams, contribute to the development of workpacks reporting dashboards for individuals, projects, BU and group reporting purposes
  • Working with project teams, our Digital and Data team, and Digital Engineering / Information Management leads, develop and implement improvements to the workpacks delivery approach specifically opportunities to tie additional, value-adding data streams into our workpacks reporting dashboard
  • Contribute to the development of workpacks training materials and governance documentation for iGMS.
  • The Ideal Candidate

  • Change management skills experience with coaching and working with people to solve difficult problems; ability to absorb negative feedback and resistance to change as par for the course in integrating change;
  • meaningfully incorporating useful feedback (both positive and negative) to improve the overarching change approach

  • Communication skills ability to communicate with and influence people in a wide range of roles from project leaders to junior workforce technicians.
  • Collaboration skills comfortable working in cross-functional teams towards common goals & outcomes. Comfortable working in a non-hierarchical team setting
  • Passion and commitment to the improvement of technical function's contribution to LO'R's DfMA vision.
  • Ability to have clear vision and drive towards outcomes and an ability to bring people along with them
