An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Content Producer to join our AI & IOT Pillar, working on a range of physical, digital and hybrid events.
The role will report directly into the Director of Events & Media.
The role offers the chance to work with some of the world’s largest tech companies globally. We are seeking an intelligent and entrepreneurial individual with proven communication and content skills who will significantly contribute to the growth and development of the pillar.
Your key remit and responsibilities will be to produce and deliver a range of high quality and progressive products that reflect and match the needs of this exciting market;
in addition to this you will be encouraged to discover potential launch events, and to follow the market closely and identify new opportunities.

With telephone research and face to face meetings a critical element of the role, you will have excellent communication & inter-personal skills being able to forge professional relationships easily, both with internal and external stakeholders.

Researching the viability of conference topics by conducting in-depth research with senior level industry figures
Researching in detail the conference programme by contacting a complete cross section of the target market through phone, desk research and meetings to determine what subjects are needed by the market
Attending relevant industry and competitor events (in UK and abroad) to meet key partners and clients
Working with associations and creating and running an advisory board when appropriate
Collaborating with internal analyst & editorial teams to leverage their expertise while researching an event
Identifying and contacting potential speakers and recruiting them onto the programme
Briefing and motivating project teams
Writing promotional copy for website, marketing and other promotional materials
Identifying different audience segments and working with the marketing department to ensure targeted marketing
Working with Sponsorship and Exhibition to find leads and identify additional revenue generating opportunities
Client account management ensuring the event delivers for top sponsors
Working with delegate acquisition teams to ensure they can deliver against delegate targets
Working with operations to ensure costs are kept at a minimum and event runs smoothly on the day
Running the conference on the day, either physically or virtually
Be known and seen as the lead contact and strategic mind behind the conference
Production of post conference report and post event analysis.
New idea generation contribution to topics, formats and features
You will be an ambitious graduate with a 2 : 1 degree or above.
You will have at least 3 years’ experience in event production or editorial.
You will have an entrepreneurial , intelligent, positive and hard-working attitude.
You will be commercially astute with a constant desire to find out more about the rapidly evolving AI and IOT markets
As such, you will have strong analytical research skill s that enable you to build an understanding in the various AI and IOT technologies / markets you will be investigating.
You will also be creative with strong self-drive , project management skills.
You will need to have no fear of researching with senior business professionals : often the heads of their department, in technical areas that you are unlikely to have prior experience of.
