We are hence looking for a dynamic, confident and experienced salesperson to help us drive the business forward. In this position, you will play a key role in the sale of our full range of building supplies.
Duties will include providing, and following up quotations for customers on our full product range as well as purchasing materials and managing stock levels across all product categories.
The successful candidate will need to be able to liaise and build relationships effectively with customers both face to face and over the telephone, ensuring they are providing excellent customer service at all times as well as sound product advice.
In addition to dealing with customers that come into the branch and approach you, you should also be committed to taking a proactive approach to building supplies sales and use every opportunity to make or increase a sale.
Sound building supplies product knowledge is essential for this role and the successful candidate should also have previous sales experience from a builder’s merchant environment.
We are looking for someone who is confident and outgoing, with the ability to build and develop great customer relationships.
A good telephone manner is vital and computer literacy is a must.
