Job Description

  • Building and maintaining relationships with relevant technical teams;
  • Leading delivery of software platforms;
  • Managing work in relation to delivering functionality on time and to budget (including project management, experience of working with benefit providers, supporting internal clients with change requests and introducing benefit technology);
  • Deliver added value by suggesting alternative solutions based on client or internal requirements;
  • Taking responsibility for cross training junior members;
  • Reviewing work carried out by junior staff Managing complex projects;
  • Managing workload of development teams.
  • Skills, qualifications and experience required

    We are looking for candidates with the following skills / experience :

  • Very strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate and interpret data effectively. Able to analyse, interpret, and manipulate large amounts of data in Excel
  • Strong experience at problem-solving and trouble-shooting software systems
  • Strong and demonstrable experience to analyse, interpret, and manipulate data on a DBMS / MS-SQL Server
  • Able to understand and interpret stack traces will be beneficial
  • Able to review source code to understand business logic will be beneficial
  • Good understanding of the following languages : SQL, HTML / CSS / JavaScript / JSON, and XML
  • Good understanding of the following technologies : Microsoft .NET, Cloud hosting / infrastructure, and Single Sign On (SAML)
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile development when working with development teams : Scrum meetings, backlog grooming, story pointing, testing etc.
  • Good at establishing strong working relationships with development teams
  • Solid understanding of how the technology can be applied to meet client’s needs in the flexible benefits market space
  • Takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work and guides others around best work practices
  • Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work
  • Continuously learns from experiences. Seeks out feedback and development opportunities
  • Gives clear directions, positive and constructive feedback. Coaches less experienced staff
  • Works in a cooperative, respectful manner with colleagues, clients and the wider community
  • Analyses problems, identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates and integrates information
  • Communicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear
  • Builds the reputation of KMPG through the quality of work, knowledge and experience
  • Monitors and upholds high quality of service and products to clients (internal and external)
