Business Development Manager

As part of BT’s Corporate Mid-Market division, you will be responsible for account managing a defined base of Corporate customers with a view to building great customer relationships and growing BT spend.

Within this team, you will be leveraging the relationships we have with our customers to increase BT’s wallet share by exploring how we can best serve our customers ever-
expanding telecommunications needs. Our aim is to hire the best talent for our Sales teams and we will always select the best candidates for the role.
However we are also passionate about ensuring we have a diverse population across BPS, so we would be particularly interested in hearing from female candidates.
and have accelerated our Mobile service offerings with 4G access and unlimited Wi-Fi capability, driven by the joining together of EE with BT.

What you'll be doing
As a Desk-based Account Manager, you’ll showcase interpersonal skills, business understanding and a positive attitude to support the continued success of our Account Managers.
With sound attention to detail, and an informed understanding of our portfolio, you’ll play a valuable part in helping us build our business and learn a great deal at the same time. Here you’ll
Build relationships with key decision makers within your Mid-Market base of customers
Identify opportunities for growth to drive pipeline and sales
Defend contracts to maintain customer spend, in particular Mobile revenues
Provide comprehensive knowledge on products within your set portfolio
Engage with your wider virtual team to progress opportunities through to closure
We'll also need to see these on your CV
