The PMO Lead is responsible for the management of Deconstruction & Transfer Programme Management Office (D&T PMO) within ND.
This includes construction and administration of the AGR decommissioning baseline beyond Fuel Free Verification (FFV) to align with ND Business Planning Process.
The D&DT PMO is required to deliver Estimating, Planning, and Risk Management services in support of these programmes and by doing so provides the mechanism by which residual lifecycle nuclear liability estimate value is determined post the defuelling phase.
They are expected to provide a key interface with the delivery management PMO - that has its primary focus on the near-term scope (pre-FFV period).
This is a unique opportunity to be the Subject Matter Expert and Process Owner for Project Controls Management during D&D design and post FFV baseline evolution.
To Supports the wider ND Lead and Learn process against seamless Transfer objectives as each site transfers. Responsible for providing project controls services during construction of the post FFV baseline, for change control to this baseline and for reporting of progress during DPS21 and other projects / workstream managed and delivered by the Transfer & Deconstruction function.
During DPS21 project execution is expected to lead a team of PCM subject matter experts and provide a reporting framework for this project and all other D&T work delivery.
Beyond DPS21, will ensure that seamless transfer objectives are established a plan is developed and actions are being undertaken to create the Transferable Entity Project Controls capability.
Post holder will be the Process owner for all Deconstruction baseline delivery requirements, supporting development and creation of interface arrangements between the Post FFV baseline and the NDA programme controls framework.
This is a key enabler to enable seamless transfer from EDF-ENGL to NDA on a site-by-site basis post FFV. As process owner promotes consistent application of Programme Office processes systems and tools that support seamless transfer.
Ideal applicants for this opportunity will be degree qualified in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.
A Project Control functional area expert cost, schedule or risk.
Experienced in Project Management and / or Project Controls Office functions
Significant experience of work planning and delivery in a highly regulated environment.
