Pupil Support Assistant

Pilrig Park School

Salary : £20,251 - £22,655 (pro-rata for part time and sessional)

Hours : 27.5 per week, 39 weeks sessional

There are two positions available at Pilrig Park School :

Pupil Support Assistant - permanent position

Pupil Support Assistant - fixed term position until 28 / 06 / 2023

We are looking for motivated and passionate Pupil Support Assistant to join the team.

Candidates must have ASN experience in special school including working with complex ASD pupils.

It is desirable that the candidate has experience with complex pupils in SEBD schools.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and / or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
