CUSTOMER INSIGHT - SENIOR INSIGHT MANAGER

Overview of the role :

The Senior Insight Manager will be a fundamental member of the onsite account team, utilising extensive industry knowledge to provide valuable insights into Morrisons.

This person will be working as part of a dedicated team for one of IRI UK's biggest clients.

The core focus for the Senior Insight Manager will be to help the client understand data and create insights gathered from customer loyalty data solution and all other available data sets e.

g. Market Data, Price & Promotional Analysis, Range Optimisation

The ideal candidate will need to have an inn and analytical mind, a passion for growing the client's business through inspiring insight, combined with excellent interpersonal and engagement skills, to deliver an all-round service.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Support the embedding and widespread usage of the Insight Portal within the client organisation through :
  • Creating and presenting high-level insights from the Insight Portal
  • Supporting the delivery of stakeholder engagement including workshops and presentations
  • Skills and Experience :

  • Proven experience within Retail, FMCG or relevant industry. Experience in retailer, agency or client-side roles using actionable-insight to drive performance.
  • Curious to learn more. Active listening to client issues and strong at identifying opportunities
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills. Good at presenting data in a simple manner.
  • Experienced in interpreting and translating data, including loyalty / customer data.
  • Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications. Data manipulation, A / B Analysis and visualisation (using statistical packages such as Tableau, Q, SPSS)
  • Strong analytic skills ideally with experience of using Dunnhumby, AIMIA or Kantar tools
  • Gained substantial experience working in customer insight within retail or online environments
  • Knowledgeable of the Retail industry and the challenges faced in the modern market
  • Leverage mutually beneficial relationships and networks both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated resilience and sound judgement in dealing with business and corporate challenges.
  • Able to engage in a consultative manner with clients at all levels when helping solve / manage content deliverables
  • Manages client expectations
  • Strong project management and process skills
  • Ability to effectively work with virtual and diverse teams and managing workflow
