Job Description

As a key member of the Purchasing & Stores team you will be responsible for running the Medical Equipment Library, placing and receiving orders for parts and consumables, supporting the EBME team with day-to-day administrative tasks associated with the acceptance, maintenance, repair and decommissioning of The Clinic’s medical equipment and ensuring that the maintenance contracts for all of The Clinic’s medical equipment are renewed.

  • Job Type : Full Time, permanent position.
  • Hours : 37.5 hours per week; Mon - Fri within the core hours of 9am-5.30pm
  • Location : The London Clinic Administration Building 1 Park Square West, London NW1 4LJ

    Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing the Equipment Library, e.g. requests for items from wards and departments, checking equipment availability, collection and delivery of equipment to wards and departments as required.
  • Checking equipment has been cleaned post collection and prior to issue.
  • Post return check equipment is operational and undamaged and log issues for the Biomedical engineers where necessary.
  • Supporting the Medical Devices Manager / MDSO in relation to Audits, tracing missing equipment and investigating issues raised in FSN’s.
  • Working with the Biomedical Engineers to determine parts requirements and ordering ad-hoc spare parts as needed.
  • Skills & Experience

  • Must have experience of complex spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and also to work independently
  • Must demonstrate initiative, be intuitive and enthusiastic
  • Must be able to think logically
