Becoming a Comms Manager with Capita Corporate Marketing :

Capita is in the middle of an exciting period of change and transformation. This includes the corporate communications team.

We have new Director of Corporate Affairs and are working on exciting plans to deliver an ambitious and first-rate communications programme to engage staff and external stakeholders.

Part of this programme is the recruitment of an experienced and talented Comms Manager who can help deliver our ambitious Communications programme.

The role is an initial 6 months contract based in London.

What you will do :

Writing engaging communications : You will be able to explain information concisely, whilst also paint the bigger picture and help people understand how changes will affect different parts of the business.

Communications planning : You’ll look to develop an ongoing programme of regular communications, that keep colleagues engaged and informed.

Narrative and messaging : With lots of initiatives being run across the business, we need to make sure we tell a consistent story

Content creation : You’ll be able to identify the best ways to engage different colleagues on changes

Your experience will include :

  • Excellent copy writing and literacy skills
  • Proven ability to source information
  • Strategic communications planning skills
  • Strong Stakeholder management experience
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
