We deliver hundreds of projects every year, to public and private sector clients in the UK and overseas, including flagship programmes such as the UK’s national air quality measurement network (AURN), the National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory (NAEI) and the annual national scale air quality modelling assessment on behalf of UK Government.

We are also delivering high profile studies in the Middle East and China with significant modelling components.
We have an opportunity for a Principal Consultant to support a wide range of exciting and innovative projects within our modelling and policy teams.
We welcome applications from those with relevant work experience internationally. Applicants will have a solid understanding of air quality policy and legislation (particularly European), as well as a robust experience in air quality modelling at different scales, used preferably in informing policy.
Ideally, you will have experience in leading or working on proposals and projects for clients such as international development banks, the European Commission and national governments.
You will be responsible for the delivery of technical projects including communication with clients and managing your time across several projects and business areas.
You will work closely with colleagues in the London, Harwell, Glasgow, and Manchester offices to deliver high quality solutions on a range of projects including characterizing the impacts of policy on air pollution levels, developing and modelling policy scenarios, and making intensive use of data to support decision making.
The role will include significant technical work using relevant modelling and data processing software, preparation of technical reports, providing technical advice to clients and colleagues, project management and proposal writing.
