Help patients get life-saving treatment, as a Principal Architect joining a talented team of architects developing medical device software for our world leading Radiation Therapy Treatment systems.

We are looking for an experienced Principal architect and designer who can contribute to leading the vision for our next generation clinical software.

We’re giving millions of patients the chance to live more moments that matter. We are expanding the Enterprise Architecture team in Elekta to help drive forward our ambitious plans.

As a Principal Architect in Elekta, you will be a key member of the new Enterprise Architecture Team in Elekta, reporting to the Director of Enterprise Architecture.

The Enterprise Architecture function guides and governs the structure and direction of Elekta’s product software to ensure the business can meet its strategic goals across the whole product portfolio.

As a member of the team, you will lead discussion with multi-disciplinary groups on technology selection, application portfolio management, capability mapping, and transition architectures.

The Enterprise Architecture group are responsible for the high-level architecture of Elekta’s software platform, and you must have firsthand knowledge and extensive experience in developing a Microservice platform, using CNCF tools, patterns and technologies.

You will lead discussions with System Architects and Software developers around the application architecture and product design across the Elekta portfolio.

The role includes an excellent benefits package and is based in Crawley near to Gatwick airport, in our purpose built modern and spacious UK office with good transport links via rail, bus, and car.

Skills You must be able to demonstrate and have current experience in a selection of the following areas Enterprise Architecture Capability mapping, Architecture Definition, Transition Architectures Integration of Legacy Applications Portfolio Management Architecture Documentation, Governance and Change Control processes.

Software Architecture CNCF Technologies Kubernetes, Microservice Architectures Hybrid Architectures API design and API led product development System Design, and Decomposition Software Development Have developed bespoke products.

Have experience of working in a regulated industry DevOps and Continuous delivery Agile, Scaled Agile experience would be a benefit.

Azure Cloud development expertise.
