At Wates, we are looking for skilled Maintenance / Fabric Technician to join our team at our client’s world class facilities in Northamptonshire with the responsibility for both the reactive and minor planned maintenance on the M&E plant and equipment, including minor fabric tasks and working closely with the clients Facilities Team.

Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains and Wates FM have worked closely over the last few months to agree a collaborative way forward with this partnership.

Responsibilities :

Responsibility for both the reactive and planned maintenance in the areas of expertise including Building Fabric Maintenance Tasks, minor Plant maintenance tasks, Outdoor working tasks

Work to a high standard always to ensure plant and equipment is maintained

Carry out compliance checks in the required timescales and issue documents for uploading onto ACT

Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are read and understood

Ensure that engineering sub-contractors are appropriately supervised, and comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes

You are

Proven ability to successfully work in a fast paced, highly dynamic, and constantly demanding environment

Well-presented with a professional attitude and meticulous attention to detail

Able to work flexibly / Out of Hours occasionally to suit the Clients / site requirements

Experience of building, plumbing, carpentry skills with a recognised qualification

Basic knowledge of maintaining M&E plant and equipment

Experience of carrying out compliance tasks (Emergency Light Testing and Tap Temperature checks)

Able to ascent and descend vertical access equipment
