What you’ll be doing

As well as being an excellent communicator, the successful candidate will ideally have 2 / 3 years of experience gained in a similar role within a housing developer or consultancy and will have strong capability in the use of CAD and ideally Revit.

As an Architectural Technologist or Technician your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

  • Working closely with Line Manager to assist in the technical delivery of projects
  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with external project team members as appropriate
  • Attending project / client meetings and assisting with site inspections and surveys as required
  • Using own initiative and demonstrating independent working ability when required
  • Conducting activities and producing outputs in line with relevant legislation and industry standards
  • Completing designs, applying sound technical knowledge relevant to the role
  • Assist in managing drawings production, and checking CAD / Revit design work in collaboration with colleagues
  • Who we’re looking for

    The ideal candidate will most likely have gained previous experience within a similar role at a consultancy or housing developer

  • Team working capabilities
  • Capability in the use of CAD to produce housing layouts, street scenes and working drawings.
  • Good computer skills in using Microsoft Office software, Sketch Up and Photoshop
  • Minimum 2 / 3 years relevant experience
