Own and drive initiatives that enable us to achieve our biodiversity ambitions, including :
Drive the delivery of selected initiatives yourself
Project manage the delivery of initiatives owned by other functions
Develop, initiate and implement new initiatives in close cooperation with the wider business and in line with leading standards and international and national programs
Project manage overall pipeline of existing and potential future initiatives, including regular reporting on plan (budget, time, progress, performance, impact)
Support the sharing of good practice and the deployment of initiatives and expertise within different business functions, incl.
but not limited in origination & development, construction, operation and engineering.
Provide direction and expert advice on sustainability, in particular biodiversity topics. Stay abreast of fast evolving landscape of these topics and serve as our subject matter expert, including framework, competitor & market analysis
Act as point of contact for RWE Group and other RWE Units on biodiversity
Steering of external partners and consultants where required
Represent Offshore through proactive networking with various external stakeholders in the respective field
Support and develop additional activities in line with the Offshore Sustainability strategy and targets
Completed university studies or equivalent in engineering, environmental sciences, business administration or similar studies
Min 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field of sustainability consulting and / or in sustainability areas or biodiversity, habitat management and monitoring in an international company
Proven experience in matrix project coordination with cross-functional project teams and various stakeholders
Knowledgeable of global sustainability trends, frameworks and tools of relevance for the position
Excellent communication and negotiating skills, persuasiveness and a confident manner, also in an international environment
Good command of MS Office, in particular PowerPoint
Independent, structured and analytical way of working
Initiative, agile way of working and facilitation skills
A true team-player with authentic passion for sustainability
Business fluent in English. German and additional languages of advantage
Willingness to regular travel, incl. international travels
