About the position

The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for supporting the renewal of Regional Research subscriptions, as well as securing, maintaining and upselling new research subscriptions, for a regionally defined territory of established vendor accounts within the European Industry Growth Team (EIG).

The role requires a proven acumen for managing and supporting a wide portfolio of technology research working with Global Account teams and client success teams internally while liaising and managing senior level client relationships at the UK and EMEA level where needed

Responsibilities

The main attributes of the candidate include :

  • Commercially focussed with proven succesful Sales / Account Management experience
  • Managing a portfolio of €2M+ of renewabable business representing 85% of installed base and 15% new business
  • High percentage of proactivity with clients and internal support teams
  • Responsible for regional revenues; working with global sales counterparts
  • Understanding of research subscriptions and the value they provide to clients along with the renewal process
  • Metrics based activities including client calls, client engagements f2f, analyst briefings, presenting business value reports
  • Customer Centric approach
  • Good collaboration and communication skills
  • Understanding of Salesforce.com and the CRM function
  • Process driven in dealing with clients and client subscriptions
  • Meet all annual sales targets set
  • Undertake regular business reviews with management to evaluate performance and client growth opportunities.
  • Qualifications

  • This assignment will suit a Senior Account Manager who is commercially aware with previous Sales / Account Manager experience or with relevant experience selling research subscriptions into regional / global client base
  • Proven new Business skills to discover new buying centers within existing client accounts, uncover customer decision criteria with senior decision makers that can be shared with Global account teams on a regular basis
  • An understanding of Market Research / Advisory services and the role it plays within vendor organizations
  • Ambitious, high potential Sales professional with a strong track record who is seeking a challenging career opportunity with an international culture
  • Collaborative team player
  • 5 to 7+ years experience in client managment and / or sales in both the UK and Internationally
