Applications are invited for a Research Fellow position in the School of Architecture and Cities at the University of Westminster.
The Researcher will work under the supervision of Dr Andrew Smith on the HERA funded project : Festivals, Events and Inclusive Parks.

This project aims to evaluate how festivals and events affects the inclusivity of parks in London, with a particular focus on the ethnic and socio-
economic profiles of users. The research will establish how festivals and events affect people’s attachment to parks and the ways park space is used.
The post holder will play a significant role in this project by undertaking research and by analysing / writing up findings.
Applicants should be familiar with key ideas and literatures in the fields of festivals and events and / or parks and public space management.
Applicants need to have a PhD in a relevant discipline and excellent research and communication skills.
This post is available from June 2019 and is funded for 14 months.
